Confident You! Coloring Book for Children: Fun Drawings with Encouraging, Positive Statements to Improve Self-Esteem Paperback – Large Print, December 4, 2015

I bought this coloring book for my private counseling practice in the hopes of using it with children to help boost self-esteem and confidence. When ordering, there was not a special "Look Inside" option to preview this book. When it arrived, it does have the colorful outside appearance, but all of the color pages on the inside are these bizarre, contemporary patterns that appear meaningless. At the top of each page is an affirmation that looks as if it were inserted in a greyed box by a computer. Frankly, it looks like one of those self-published books made in India. I wish it were a "Look Inside" book so that the buyer could see the actual coloring pages and be aware of what they were purchasing. This might be ok to use with a teenager (this is not a big group that likes to color), but for younger children it would be ridiculous.

I actually purchased this for myself and love it! There's only one drawing per page so there's no chance of it bleeding through. I love the affirmations at the top of some of the pages and the drawings are really spacious which I love. Even though it's marketed for children I am one adult very happy with my purchase. The price was very nice. Much cheaper than many of the coloring books that are designed specifically for adults.

I don't think this book is for children, older children ok. There is a lot to color & to figure out how or what colors to use! I really like the pictures! The paper isn't very heavy but only 1picture per page.

Not impressed. Quality was similar as a book from the $1 store.

Ordered them for our grandchildren's visit...they and their parents had fun!
