It goes over the primary data structures and algorithms for an intro level data structures course, but the conceptual explanations are largely limited to specific implementations. Sure, it can be extended, but there are better books out there for self-study.

The purchased book was in good condition for the price.It appears that it was published in India (possibly international student version), but still contains the correct material.The text and pictures are all in black and white.

Concepts are explained in worst possible way. Diagrams and text are totally out of order. Sometimes an approach to algorithm is explained in one way while an example is solved using a totally different approach.

I am a student in the University of Athens, where they provide us this book. I find it poor written, quite difficult to understand it, plus the source code does not usually work all the time. Stay away!
