This is an easy product to use and you can put it in the dishwasher, but be careful. The wires that you use to cut eggs can easily get bent out of shape and make this product not usable

First of all, this is an egg slicer and not a strawberry slicer. Even though the listing shows strawberry slicer, the only way you could use it for that is if the strawberries are overripe. Even then it would bend the wires and break eventually. I know this because I tried it on a different slicer which was more expensive and sturdier than this one, and it broke shortly thereafter.As for slicing eggs, it works fine except for one thing. That is, it does not slice all the way through the egg. I have to kind of roll the egg for the very bottom part of it to be sliced through. It’s annoying, but for the cost it’s what you get.Another thing is that this slicer… Unlike many others… Is made to slice horizontally only. Many others have indentations for both horizontal and vertical, but not this one.This egg slicer like there is made in China and being sold by Chinese company on Amazon. At the current price of five bucks, is cheap enough because it also includes shipping for prime members. Even though I’m sure it cost well under a buck to make in China.

We have always had the same egg slicer for all of our married life, i.e. 49 years. Now that we are retired and spend winters where it’s warm, we found that we needed a second egg slicer. This one is perfect. Easy to clean - just pop it in the dishwasher. Easy to use, nice shape, seems sturdy. Definitely recommend!

This is what you get when you buy cheap stuff. It’s a gamble and this time I lost. I didn’t even get to use this before it broke in the dishwasher. When I went to use it, the wire caught and bent to make it unusable. The last photo is the difference between this junk slicer and the one I just bought which is a five star all the way. Don’t buy this junk. Spend another four bucks and get a quality slicer.

Worked wonderful for the 2 weeks we’ve had it. Strictly used it for strawberries and one wire has snapped and another is really loose. Bummed with this now

What else to say, it works very well.

Cuts neatly is a bit messy to clean.

The media could not be loaded.  Look, it does what it needs to but it really should have little rubber feet underneath because the plastic is so light it slides around on the bench
