Quality product, excellent sound, a few niggles.
I was fortunate to get this as "renewed" and it was basically brand new, open box.On to the device.Forst the remote hosts of "long" button pushes to do multiple functions. Its not clear and you probably won't remember what does what. I used to be more of an audio guy but with two kids now we just wanted something nice and simple. I barely mess with the remote anymore unless we are watching a surround movie. Otherwise volume.up and down is integrated via some magic and works with my TV remote. I have an LG OLED.The unit itself is a bit tall and I had to make a riser for my TV out of a piece of plywood and then painted it black, you can't see it but was annoying nonetheless. Had I got the LG soundbar I'm sure it is shorter to match their TV.Surround speakers work well. It provides a quality experience but I doubt it's a fully immersive Atmos experience as a true system would be. Again, for simplicity sake this fits the bill very well. It's a snap to undock the speakers and put them behind you.The Atmos setup worked just fine, though I don't know that I have the speakers in an ideal spot, again it works for us.Sound quality and bass are great, so clear and crisp, bass could be a bit more, you do have a subwoofer button on the remote which is nice. Some complain for lack of EQ....broken record here, it's SIMPLE, plug it in and enjoy. If you want whiz bang gizmos get something else.I looked between this and the bose 900 w/subwoofer. This was a few $$$ less. I dont know what I'm missing.Quality, solid product, great sound and bass, can shake my house when turned up over 20, provides an exceptional TV and movie experience for the whole family.

This is an outstanding sounding and operating device
I am not knew to sound systems by a long stretch of the means. I have always gravitated towards actual Outlaw audio amps, Marantz processors, PSB T3 tower speakers and adjoining atmos speakers, and finally two very large Outlaw Audio thx certified subwoofers. So, looking at this one man band show called a sound bar just never settled with my ideas of being able to generate truly high quality transparency and clean but power lows from a wireless sound bar; dear hod was I wrong. Straight out of the gate, I was just amazed at how clean the and how precise the sound drivers for the atmos, the rears m, etc.. the sound will have you checking constantly to see if people are talking You in the house (things clanging and banging, doorbells ringing, airplanes flying low over head and you look up, ect). The transparency is very, very good. Some might find the highs lacking too much for their taste but I would rather have a slightly flatter high range compared to an ear shrieking/piercing high range that is nothing if not impossible to take and tolerate as real: music, movie atmosphere, or night scales of natural sounds hissing with unreal tinny/trebly sounds gashing they ears. No, this easily provides Brillance in the regeneration of sound processing and playback of anything thrown at it.The biggest thing on everyone’s mind is what problems with the system have I had. The quick and honest answer is not one. I have not had one cutout in the rear speakers, no trouble with the the systems input or output systems working with my equipment, just nothing. So, looking at the Bose 900 without a sound bar or this whole out and out system with everything complete out of the box, including the mounting brackets, this is a great system. Buy in confidence and enjoy the hell out of the this.If you live in a small housing area like an apartment, small bedroom adjoining near by family or friends, just know this thing packs real power and you will get a visit if you are not careful about lowering the bass and overall volumes when necessarily. With that said, this system is great at making the perfect sound calibrations to keep the system sounding great when volume is lowered or bass is pulled, the system still sounds so good.Enjoy and thanks for reading my views.

It's fine
I wanted an upgrade from my small, dinky old soundbar, and this looked appropriate. The wireless surround speakers are a nice touch, as I didn't want to have to run wires. The sound is a definite improvement -- it sounds great and fills my living room. I'm not an audiophile so I can't really comment in depth, though. I would have preferred some more control over the sound; you basically only have two options (standard and a preset EQ). Still, no real complaints. It was easy to install and integrates with my LG TV. The included brackets for the surround speakers were also not difficult to install. Adding the soundbar as a speaker to our wifi network wasn't intuitive, but it seems to work well once that's done. Bluetooth similarly works well.Downsides: the surround speakers have relatively poor battery life IMO, and only last a few days even with relatively infrequent use. If you're a particularly heavy TV viewer or gamer you might have to charge them every day. They charge by attaching to the side of the soundbar, which adds significant length -- the soundbar no longer fits on our shelf with them attached. I've also found them to be a bit finicky ... they usually don't turn on automatically -- but sometimes they do -- and I can't adjust their volume when they're detached, as trying to do so results in a "not supported" message. It's also not letting me install a firmware update, which for all I know might fix some of those issues.

JBL 9.1 Sound Bar
I’m new to surround sound systems. The JBL caught my eye. Set up as fairly easy but I had questions. I reached out to the provider and almost immediately they responded back. I was treated as a valued customer and a welcomed member to the JBL family. The system is well built and the sound is amazing. Not only would purchase from this company again; I would strongly recommend them to perspective buyers.
