Nice lamp

Cute style, EXCEPTIONALLY poor design
The style of this lamp is great - perfect fit for our lake house. Love the look of it - but that’s where it ends. First, the lampshade does not fit tightly around the top, even after light bulb is screwed in. Wobbles around terribly and ends up being crooked most of the time. Second, the only way to turn on the lamp is via a switch that is close the the end of the plug. So, if the lamp is on a bedside table, you can’t just reach over and turn the lamp on/off easily at that level - you have to get to the floor level where the outlet is to flick the switch. Makes no sense why there isn’t an on/off switch on the lamp itself where every other lamp in creation has one. Lastly, while the materials used for this lamp seem decent and solid - the lamp base just spins and rotates around on the wood base it sits on. It is not screwed in tightly so it doesn’t move, and we haven’t yet found a way to fix that.

Packed well. Easy to set up. Looks fantastic in our nautical room. Nice table lam piece!
