Vintiquewise(TM) Old Style Suitcase/Decorative Box with Straps, Set of 2

I bought this as part of a themed Christmas present last year and if you're in the market for antique looking wooden cases (which I'm sure there is a HUGE one), these really hold up well. They are built solid, look the part and the price is very reasonable.

The measurements were accurate. Very nice---nicer than the picture. I used the large case to hold a child's magic kit and the case was perfect. This is a decorative suitcase and I'm not sure if the latches will hold up. Since the case is wood, I will be able to change out those latches if necessary.

I really liked these decorative boxes. They've got an antique appearance.However, they were a bit smaller than I expected. The big box worked for storing loose, assorted papers. I used the smaller office accessories.Also, they're not exactly made of thick material and if left in the wrong place, I could see these breaking rather easily.I give it four stars for appearances and working for what I had in mind. Minus a star for size and durability.

Just LOVE these....they look like they are old little suitcases and really make a greataccent piece in any room and can hold a lot! Would be a perfect holiday gift for someone who likesthe look of antique smaller chests too!

They look like expensive artifacts, and they’re useful for storing old photos, etc. I have them on a shelf in my living room, and they add to the decorum of the room. If it’s your style, I’d suggest getting them.

On large case the handle came apart on the 1st day, small screws that came right out.On small case on 2nd day the screws on the latch came out.poor quality, can not even hold 3-5 lbs. only use as decoration as they do look nice.not worth the price paid.

These suit cases were for a theater production we are putting on here in our local community. We were in need of suitcases from the 1930's and were on a limited budget. I purchased the cases hoping they would be bigger as they looked big in the pictures. They were quite small. The price was a bit pricey too. We purchased them cause we were in desperate need of these. They got to my house fast and I was grateful that the shipping was good. I wasn't happy though when I got them and found that the larger suitcase had been broken. Having no time to return them as they were needed for our play, we kept the larger one and repaired it the best we could. I would not recommend these suitcases to anyone who wants to use them for anything other than a prop, design feature, or knickknack. They are not durable and have very shoddy workmanship. I would like to ask for my money back, but since we were in a pinch and needed them as a prop and had to make repairs to the large one so the audience wouldn't see the crack down the middle I can't send them back. Beware of the things you purchase, not everything is as it seems.

These are pretty cool. My kids like them, and fight over them. The only thing is they are hard, made out of plywood, and have sharp corners. That isn’t clear in the description or at least was a surprise to us. They can mar floors or ding shins...

La qualità dei materiali non è altissima, comunque me lo aspettavo. Tuttavia le valigette sono molto carine e le sfrutterò molto nel lavoro che faccio.

Die Köfferchen sind sehr dekorativ und schön gemacht. Qualität stimmt für diesen Preis auch. Ideal um schöne (Reise-) Geschenke zu verpacken.Wir sind sehr zufrieden.
