Perfect replacement
The Bose adapter that came with my Companion 20s suffered a catastrophic failure. After smelling burning and unplugging the OEM adapter, the plastic interior of the barrel had melted and actually started oozing out. I thought for sure this had caused damage to the speakers but decided to try this replacement before giving up hope. Plugged it in and, to my surprise, everything works like new. Very glad I was able to find this adapter and at a reasonable price.

Super satisfied customer!
To be honest I was a little hesitant to order at first since I did not want to risk my 250 usd speakers from Bose, I was looking to buy the original power supply from the manufacturer, but when I received the product I was very surprised by the quality and thoughness of the manufacturing; not only equals to the original but I would dare to say it is even better! Buy with confidence!

Looks like a good product.
Nicely packaged. Arrived on time. Just will not work with my Bose Companion speakers. I called Bose because I thought this would be OK and they told me no. Not sure if they are correct or just trying to sell their own parts but think I should go with their recommendation. I will be returning.

Fixed my Bose speaker failure.
OEM power supply for my Bose Companion 20 failed. Failure was an overheated connector at the speaker. Exactly the same as previous commenter. Connected this replacement and speakers work perfectly. Great value.

Adapter power connector is too small.
The power adapter arrived yesterday, I inserted the adapter cord end into my Bose's companion 20 speaker and it was a loose fit. So I removed it and placed my old original connector just to compare the fit. Sure enough it's snug unlike this new replacement. Now I know what the previous review meant about it not fitting correctly and how it ruined his equipment. Today I returned it back to AMAZON.

It works perfectly!
Opened box, connected to my Bose Companion 20 speakers, and plugged it in to electrical outlet... Voila!! My speakers are working beautifully. I've only been using this power supply for about an hour so far, so I can't say if long-term reliability is good but at this point I can't say anything negative about this product!
