The dashboard panel flashed the 'left brake light failure' message.In my desire to replace the busted lamp immediately, I check on the web for the replacement.I was directed to Sylvania's (automotive) website where you enter your car's year/make/model & the lamp you're going to replace. It recommended the 7528 - and they have 4 types.The nearest big box store is just about a mile from us & knew that they sell them. I got them (7528 Long Life Mini Bulb - 2 pack) in a jiffy and drove back home to replace the busted left brake lamp.To my dismay, it DID NOT FIT. The 7528 may look similar to the original but it has a bulkier contact point.So, I checked the car's manual and there it was - it requires the P21W.Although I have to wait another 2 days after I ordered via Amazon Prime, it was the EXACT item I needed.BTW, installation on a 2006 MB C280 took under 5 minutes (see photo, the brake lamp is the 3rd one from the top) & doesn't require any tools at all!

My car Brake light was out. I was looking for a 12v 21w bulb. After replace it, there was no more ‘Right Brake Light Malfunction’ warning. Price was also reasonable. I hope it will last long.

One of the bulbs was broken when I opened the package, I was holding inside but when ipen it came into pieces.

What else can you say about a light bulb. No idea if it'll last, but Osram is a pretty good brand, so I'm optimistic.

Not much to say about a stop light bulb. I ordered these because it’s what was in the car, Osram made in Germany. I’m not sure if this was the original bulb, but this brand was recommended by people in the Volvo V70 Facebook group. The convenient 2 pack gives me a spare that I put in the access panel for my other taillight. I hope I remember in case the other one gives out. It was an exact fit for my 19 year old Volvo.Shipping was fast and packaging protected bulbs. It arrived before I needed to drive the car again. Thanks.

A tractor

My brother put this in my BMW when the brake light went out. He had no issues installing it and it worked just like you would expect. I would purchase it again. I can't speak for longevity, but so far so good.
