The power ports are still accessible for the unit to charge both the system and controller.Quality: Stuff online and from China can be hit or miss. I was surprised by the quality of the unit. It feels well built and I trust using it with my brand new 300 dollar system in it.Cons: The main con I could find was with big hands your finger may rub the back hing some. It's not a huge deal once you start using it but I did notice it at first. I've already talked with the manufacturer about improving this and was impressed by their quick response and want to improve their product.Now I just need a case designed for the controller, clip, system, some games and charger.

The media could not be loaded.  This control mount is amazing I worried at first that the switch light would be too heavy but it feels great. It's very easy to install. Less than 10 seconds literally. Everything feels strong and sturdy. Its my new way to play now.

Worth the $15 to play my Switch Lite in handheld comfortably! The holder is secured by a locking grip around the Pro Controller that gives ample space to all buttons and charging ports. The locking mechanisms for the Switch are 3 dials controlled however you like.I unscrew one side to pop it up and run the charging cable from behind. I also want to note mine came installed backwards, but all I had to do was just unscrew the 2 screws and flip it.It makes it slightly heavy, but if I get tired I just put a pillow under my elbows and I'm fine again. I have a Switch Lite with a Hori case on it and a screen protector and everything fits perfectly together with 0 interference. Made my Pokemon Shield egg hatching much easier!

I purchase this product to play my Nintendo switch. As stated it says will fit Pro Controller . No it will not. As my controller is an official controller and not an after market. The clip would not close by not means around the controller. The clip would not lock. I was so disappointed. I really wanted this so I can take my switch to my doctor's appointments. As I have problems holding my the switch and need to use the controller. I don't usually write reviews but I am to upset. I had to return it. I read the instruction before I purchased. Upset and Hurt

I can't believe it took so long for a company to come out with this! The Joycon controllers Nintendo sends with the Switch are so hard to use for people with big hands... They're so tiny! The Pro controller really fixes that, but you lose the ability to carry your Switch with you anywhere. That's where this handy clip comes into play! It's very well built and holds the Switch tight in it's clasp. My only recommendation would be to add a stand that swings out from the base so you can just set it down without having to tilt it all over onto the back of the Switch.Any chance the company would be interested in making a carrying case to hold the Pro controller, the Switch, and this mount?? I'd definitely buy one!

I bought this product on a whim after browsing Switch accessories on Amazon. My partner likes to use the large tv while I play video games so I opted for this since I prefer the feel and sturdiness over my pro controller vs. the joycons in handheld mode. This mount is awesome! I had to remove my silicone case to get it to fit over my controller, but after that, I didn't have issue with how it could be adjusted and how it cradled my Switch. It's super easy to use, and it just feels more comfortable. That being said, there was one big hiccup that did bother me. There are pins located on the backside of the clip that allow the cover to open and close around the controller. After I removed the mount from the box, I heard something hit the floor. One of the pins had fallen out. I pushed it back in the connection, hoping it was just not secured the first time. Since then, I have almost lost these in the couch a couple of times. I'm still trying to figure out how I'm going to secure them whether I use some kind of glue or something, but this part is frustrating.Aside from that, I do love the idea behind this mount, but if you're going to buy it, be prepared that it may ship to you in the same condition I received mine.
