Spectre Performance (4642) 2.5" Header Reducer Gasket with Bolts, 2.5 Inch

Like other said, poor Quality Steel that's chrome-plated. I have no idea why you would Chrome plate these. All the divots show that the steel was rusted long before it was plated. And then, mine ships without the gaskets. What the hell am I going to do with these without gaskets? Now I have to go buy gasketsAnd THEN! I go out and buy gaskets another $8, I grind off the Chrome so I can do a decent welding job, I go to do the installation, and the nuts don't fit the bolts. Like their metric nuts and SAE bolts. I'll never buy another Spectre product.

If you like quality you won't like these. They are painted over rust metal. The flange has to be the thinnest material I have seen. Without any doubt they will burn of this fake stainless and rust. There already rusting on the inside. Plus look at the outside pitting of the metal

Doing a 350 sway into a jeep needed a header flange to build pipes that wrap under oil pan and these where perfect..My one questions is why chrome .. they are a weld on flange so i have to clean the chrome off to get a good weld... But they do look nice.. and are great value

Its not an air cleaner or a valve cover. Spectre it has to be welded to. Why in the world would you chrome plate it? Other the unneeded step for having to grind chrome off it was a good product for the $$

Not really sure why these come rusted. Kinda a bummer but it’s a small piece. Metal has all sorts of dimples. It’ll work for what I need but doesn’t seem to be a quality product.

They worked after I ground the chrome off. Poor quality. I wish I would have paid extra and got the Hedmans.
