I really like this iPod case! It is so hard to find iPod cases nowadays and a durable, waterproof case is a must in my line of work. This one delivers. I ordered this case over a year ago and it is just as impenetrable as ever. My only problem with the case was that the tiny piece that lets you lift up the tab on the charging port broke off. In order for me to charge it, I had to completely open the case. It was still waterproof but there was no longer a convenient way to charge the device. In comes Merit's customer service and 2 year warranty! They were super nice and quickly sent me a new case to replace the defective one (Though I feel defective is a harsh word for this hardy little case. For how many times I had to pull that tab open, it makes sense that it would be the first to go). I am so pleased with this product and the company that provides it. Thank you Merit!

I purchased the Merit waterproof kickstand case for my new iPod which replaced an old one that I had had ruined by a rainstorm I got caught in. After that I was determined to have a waterproof case for protection of the new one. Their customer service contacted me by email a couple days after my purchase to ask me how I liked the product. I mentioned to them that one tiny drop had gotten into the case during the waterproof test that you perform before you use the case and they replaced it in no time flat. This company cares about its product and your satisfaction. I highly recommend this company - they are wonderful and respond to any concerns you may have. I have bought things from other companies where when you contact them they don't even bother to call you back or respond. This company conducted all their correspondence by email with a couple of different people (Helen, and Sunny) but no matter who responded it was always the very next day, quickly, efficiently, and they even wish you the best of health at the end of their email. The customer service deserves a 10 star rating. I really like the case and it is easy to control the iPod through the plastic cover. There is an extension cord that plugs in and screws in to the case which you can plug your earbuds into for use. The only area that I had a problem with was if you have any type of charging station for your iPod then it seems necessary to remove the case from around the iPod in order to set it on the charger because it doesn't seem to be able to fit down onto the charger with the case on. But that problem is easily solved with using the charging plug that comes with the iPod; it just plugs right up through the case into the iPod. Considering the reason I bought it was to protect my new iPod from any and all forms of moisture that really is a moot point. I really like the case and the customer service is even better. How much more could you want.

Love this case...I didnt buy it for the waterproof feature and did not test it for that, so I cannot attest to that feature. I love that this case was easy to install, just snap together, and that the buttons all line up and are easy to press with the cover on. I am hoping not to drop my iPod but do feel like this would protect it. Also like that it has a strap for your wrist. Now I wish they had one just like it for the iPad!

I ordered this case for son's iPod hoping it would be durable and help protect his new iPod. I loved the price and features. We got it and it seemed okay until we realized the power button wouldn't work with the case on. The button cover wasn't actually reaching/touching the power button on the iPod. I contacted the company and they immediately sent a new one which works perfectly. I'm very happy with the product and customer service. I have three boys with iPods so I will be using this company again!

***Update***... The seller of this case reached out to me after my previous review and offered to give me a refund to cover the cost of a charging cable that would fit with this case and they sent a link for me to purchase the cable from. They also sent a new case. So I am updating my review so others will know that the seller actually makes an effort to correct any issues you may have. My previous review follows.While I would love to give this case a 5 star rating I simply can not. The case itself seems to be a pretty sturdy structure. Nice tight fit for my iPod. Excellent sealing capability. That all being said the first time I used the kickstand I thought it was going to bust off when I initially opened it. The covers for the earbud connection as well as the charging port are a pretty tight fit making them pretty hard to uncover. With that being said you need to be extremely careful when opening those ports otherwise you may end up ripping them completely off. Also my house charger simply does not fit in the hole provided for the charging port. The car charger fits perfectly but if I want to charge it in the house I have to take the case off. Which I feel if I continuously have to do the sealing capability of this case will slowly weaken. Resulting in a less protective product.

*Updated*The case itself is rather nice. Shock resistant, waterproof, but it has some drawbacks. The beveled edge is rather high and close to the screen making corner options difficult to access. The kickstand would have been nifty if it hadn't broke on the third use. But my main complaint is how the screen took scratch damage from a plastic pencil. This is not a bad case, but for general wear and tear, it's falling apart faster than I like to see. No matter the wear, the waterproofing remained functional.*New* So Merit stands by their product. The customer review team saw my review and replaced the broken product. The new kick stand is holding up (although the beveled edge is a design flaw), and the customer service team was attentive and cared. These guys stood by their product which is rare to see in 2016. This has protected my ipod and is a good product. For that, I am happy to change my review and won't let a defect on one product deter me from using a Merit case again.

The case fits the iPod well and the kick stand is useful.The rubber seals that block the charge port and headphone jack broke within week even though the headphone jack was never used . So case is no longer water proof

I bought the exact same one in a different colour for $30 cheaper last year. Was unaware they were the same as it was posted as a different brand.

All great. My only bit of criticism is the cover for the charging port looks a little flimsy and MIGHT break if you use it a lot, but I don’t use mine much so should be okay :-)

It does NOT fit the iPod properly. You cannot get the Apple charger into it with this case on. Waste of money.
