Great product, Awesome Customer Service
I wish in a small way that I had experience using a traditional style WDH so that I could compare that to my experience with the Andersen hitch, but then I say to myself, who cares this is AWESOME!!!!I came across this WDH when I was dead set on having the dealer install a Blue Ox Sway Pro on our new to us Rockwood 8313SS when we took delivery. I fell in love with the engineering and simplicity of the design. It made a whole lot more sense in my head than the big, old, more traditional WDH's. As I always do though, I thoroughly researched the product through the magic of Google. I quickly saw that there was a fair amount of skepticism that the product does not work for heavy TT or at least those with heavy TW. (By the way, learned a ton more about abbreviations such as TT/TW/WDH/GVWR....) Our TT is about ~6500lbs dry with a TW of ~800lbs. When the dealer told me they were not an authorized dealer of Andersen Hitches, I asked them "why not", it seems like an awesome hitch. They just said that it doesn't seem beefy enough and that I should reconsider their Blue Ox. I sent off a couple of panic questions to the customer service email that I found on their website on a weekend, thinking that there was no way they would get back to me till Monday, too late to order it from Amazon and have it for the scheduled pick up date of our first TT. I received a detailed and clearly explained answer from Andersen later that afternoon. It was clear that their customer service was great. I purchased the product with no doubts in my mind that it was going to be great. It was delivered on time and packaged well. We put the box in our 1500 series Suburban and headed off a week later to pick up our monstrosity of a TT, (which is probably 200lbs away from our max tow weight without much in it) We had an extremely stressful afternoon taking delivery, finding out that Camping World of Hanover PA is not the most honest of RV companies. They placed the trailer in a location where I could apply the hitch myself and said "good luck". I was tired and ready to go home, also knowing that it was about to get dark and colder than it already was. I am a pretty handy guy so installing the Andersen hitch was pretty straight forward and simple. Only hiccup was relocating the break away wiring box, which took all of 5 min. Once hooked up, I was amazed at how simple it was and how well it looked. We cautiously drove a half mile to Walmart before our 2 hour drive home to test the system and make any adjustments in the parking lot. It worked perfectly right from the get go. Our ride home was awesome! Almost no sway, even from big rigs going the opposite way on 2 lane highways. Handled well and most of all I felt confident driving it. I began to wonder if the stickers were right about the dry and loaded loads on the TT. It makes no noise, is mindless (you don't have to worry about backing up and such, you just drive once hooked up), it's clean (no greasy messes ( wife loves that most of all), and it is light weight (very bad back so this is big consideration).I hope that this review is helpful. I know reading the countless others that are on Amazon helped me to make my decision. I conclude that those that are distrusting or have a negative review of the product either A never owned one and/or saw it in person or B they put it on incorrectly thinking it should be like every other WDH when they purchased it and did not ask for additional installation tips from the customer service oriented company they bought it from.If you want a great quality product made by a company that stands behind its product I would highly recommend Andersen WDH's.

Easy installation and works well
I have a smaller Forest River toy hauler that I use to take my Harley along when I like. After much research I decided to get the Andersen load distribution hitch for these reasons: relatively light weight, ease of installation and it’s American made. It took less than an hour to install it and just a few minutes to adjust. I went to the Smoky Mountains right after I installed it - about a 420 mile trip from home. I appreciate how it kept the trailer level under all conditions and really eliminated sway and bounce. It’s also much quieter than the others and a cinch to remove from the receiving hitch after arrival. I even got a little better gas mileage with it! I’ve since taken a couple shorter trips as well. So far very satisfied.

Weight scale comparison Anderson improves towing by100% + Made in USA!
Amazing system & American engineering! No noise & unifies trailer & truck like its 1 unit eliminates bounce and no sway this system feels very sturdy & stable have a single axle toy hauler @ 21ft 3500lbs dry & I tow 2 quads in the trailer garage & wanted something that I could back up without un attaching plus a system my wife could easily attach, this weight distribution system you can attach & re-attach in 15 secs flat with no bars to carry or cumbersome pry bar tensioning process. The install was super EZ & great customer service by Kevin @ Anderson video called me to verify installation was correct through video on my phone, for that I will always use Anderson products. Pay more to get the quality system like the Anderson Made in USA. I weighed my set up at a local truck scale with the exact same weight in trailer & same amount of fuel in truck with & without Anderson hitch & pictures show the difference practically improves steer & drive axle to 50/50 distribution! I purchased a 1-1/4 ratcheting wrench to speed up the process of attaching & detaching vs the provided 1-1/4 socket Anderson DOES provide you. This systems expensive but extremely worth it for especially me having single axle toy hauler.

Much better than the bars!
Upgraded from the round bar style W.D. hitch (the square bars will have the same drawbacks). We've had this hitch for about a year - including several months of nomadic use - and we still love it. This hitch is so easy to use - and no more bars to fool with. also much quieter because it doesn't have bars to make horrible creaking sounds as you slowly roll through the campground or maneuver into and out of your site. It's even better going over sharp rises (like raised railroad tracks) or dips - even while turning. (We dropped a bar one time with the previous hitch). I don't even use the tool to tighten or loosen the chains. I just use the power tongue jack to raise the trailer enough to take the tension off the chains, then loosen or tighten the nuts by hand. Super easy. and still no corrosion on the aluminum parts. very little maintenance - just clean off the road dust occasionally and spray with WD-40. We are very happy with this product!Pros: good sway control; easy to use; quiet; doesn't corrodeCons: must connect/disconnect with truck and trailer in alignment (not really an issue)Notes:This hitch doesn't stop porpoising, but keeping weight over the trailer and truck axles helps (less weight on the hitch and tongue). As with any hitch, keep weight over, or in front of, the trailer axles to eliminate uncontrolled sway.

Works Perfectly
Took less than an hour to install, completely changed the way the truck and trailer ride, very smooth, quiet, and steady. Before installing the hitch anything over 105 was sketchy and the trailer would sway with a slight cross breeze or passing vehicle. Now I can drive 120 if I want and she tracks steady and true. everything sits level as it should. The hitch is well made and the instructions are clear and easy to understand. Buy with confidence! my rig is a 2018 F150 with a 30' StarCraft camper. Thanks Andersen!

Great Hitch
I had a husky hitch installed on my 2017 TT and found I was having sway issues. Options were to add the sway bar to that WDH or to look at all in one WDH and anti-sway. After much research I settled on the Andersen Hitch and have not regretted it. AdmittedlyI did have some issues with the install, I could not get the brackets to stay in place and as I towed, they would slide forward and cause me to lose the WD. I read about others having this issue and saw many talking about welding the plates on and I did not want to take this step. I had a feeling my issue was the bottom bolts were in the wrong place. The Andersen had holes at 5", but my trailer would not let the bolt go through (although appearing like it should), the problem with the 6" hole was the sliding. I reached out to Andersen because if I used a smaller bolt I could use the 5" hole and knew the sliding would stop. I talked to Jared who was fantastic and said my solution would solve the issue, he gave me recommendations on the bolt strength to ensure safety and I bought them at local hardware store. Issue of sliding brackets was fixed. The hitch was much quieter then my old hitch and drive with the trailer was nice. 95% of my sway issues disappeared. We drove down the Oregon coast and from Vancouver BC to Yellowstone. Only issue we had was on our second last day on the I90 we had strong gusting winds near the gorge. I could feel the trailer trying to move and the hitch continuously brought it under control. Overall I love the drive with the hitch and feel much safer. We have now been using for a season and just started out with our 1st trip in our second season, While the hitch continued to work great, it did start making a loud noise. I reached back out to Jared and within an hour he had the replacement part in transit to my house to arrive a couple days later. The customer service from Andersen has just been outstanding. issues can happen and I rate companies on how they deal, Andersen gets an A+++

All 'Rond Great Product !
I'm so impressed with my first WDH, an Andersen 3361 kit. The install easy and straightforward. A 12Kkm transcontinental road trip west and back with my road kit, 6m, 2.5 tone, TT, diesel SUV, was a "smooth quiet" delight. My wife even drove and indicated that it was like we were not towing, except for the visual perception of length. Strong prairie winds were never an issue, even with side wind sheer. If fact we had a dramatic tire failure (pow!); and despite a shredded, exploded tire and blown off trailer wheel well cowling (fender skirt), when my wife was driving there was no concern for loss of control.I feel that the Andersen WDH 'saved our bacon'!

Top marks for Anderson no sway hitch.
Finally had the opportunity to try this hitch out last weekend on a 300 km round trip camping weekend. I have to stay I am totally impressed thus far. Kept my 30 foot rv nice and straight with only the lightest feel of sway when the wind gusts hit us sideways. Nothing when transports past us. Much better than my last hitch ever did ( 4 point design) And the big plus, it's clean, light and oh so quiet. Hard to believe something so light ( about 53lbs) can work so well. In fact the only part you actually touch when you get to the camp site is the triangle and chains which weights maybe 6-7lbs tops.Tips....don't tighten the bolt that compresses the red rubber much more that 6 or 7 turns. I found if I really cranked it I would loose a little of the anti- bounce benefits. I still managed to keep the front wheel well distance the same under load and the rear only dropped about 1.5 inches and that with a 850 lbs toungue wait. I did put on the airlift 1000 air bags due to the compression of the coil springs. I have the 6 inch shank and that gave me lots of adjustment if needed.Good work Anderson
