Hello Robots! (A Hello Book)

We got the book "Hello Knights" in a book bundle and we've been waiting to get the rest. We just got them in and they are just as good as our first! Cute rhymes, great images. My 4 and 6 year old love them! We got "Hello Knights" a while ago - great to rid with toddlers and beginning readers.

My toddler LOVES robots. I gave him this book for Christmas and we read it that night. He wanted to read it two more times and it's been in our bedtime Storytime rotation since. He loves to point of the silly things the robots are doing "wrong" and we talk about what they should do instead (i.e. socks BEFORE shoes, not on top of shoes) which makes for lots of giggles.

A new favorite! Super age appropriate and my kids (5 and 3) love the silly pictures!

As other reviews have suggested, this book is quite silly with little story to it but my toddler does enjoy it. My 2.5 year old thinks it is funny/silly to see the robots doing things incorrectly - I just wish there was 'more to it' because there really isn't much content.

Anyone who says that this book teaches kids to dress out of order clearly missed the point.My toddler loves this book. He looks at each page for a lung time because there's a lot to see. Yes, the pages are busy, but they makes it better imo. We discuss whether putting socks on shoes is the right way to dress, and whether the breakfast table looks messy.I recommend it to any kid who likes robots and can appreciate satire.

I think this concept was a bit hard for the toddler to grasp. The bright and colorful pages are great to look at but the robot story is a bit over his head. It talks about robots doing things backwards. They put socks over shoes and underpants over shorts. Then they brush teeth before dinner. At the end they do a reboot and everything goes back the way it should be. However, the concept was too advanced for the toddler to grasp at 3. He will grow into it.

Bought for a baby shower as the card. It was a quick story, great rhyming, bright pictures. Would suggest.

Love the illustrations but there's no storyline, just robots doing silly funny things
