Nice, but a little confusing to set up.
Compact scanner/ printer works very well. It was a little difficult to connect to my home wi-fi but I persisted then in no time it was working like a charm. As with anything, the buttons are confusing as was the digital display. Just play with it and itâs very easy even for a senior thatâs falling behind the progression of technology. I chose the Canon as it is a quality name and you donât have to buy a subscription for refills of inks. I didnât want to mess with that. The color and black/white cartridges that are easy to insert. I bought an extra set of print cartridges because they were a nice price and were suggested to fit my Canon printer/scanner. It is easy to insert paper. Nice purchase. Nice quality fir the price. You wonât be disappointed.

Notes for Microsoft Safe Mode Users
I utilize computers working in Microsoft Safe Mode, so encountered some challenges in the installation. It might have helped if I had remembered that an installation CD was included, but it wasn't mentioned in the installation instructions. In following the set-up procedures, I realized that I could not use the Canon website, as instructed, for the installation. Instead, I downloaded a suitable Canon printer app from the Microsoft store. However, I still needed to download drivers, so I did a Windows Update. Although I still got a message that the drivers were not detected, I tried a Test Page and, lo and behold, it worked perfectly. By the way, I prefer using the USB connection (rather than wireless), but a connector cable was not included. I had a cable on hand, so overcame that limitation. The rest of the set-up was fairly easy, including the print cartridges. Beyond that, my experience with the printer is limited, but the two-sided printing worked as expected and the quality of the print seems fine. It is quite a capable machine for a very modest price. So far, I'm happy with it.

Nightmare...
I have had this printer for a few months and it came up with an error code 6800. I called Canon customer support and it said I would have to register the product to get support. When I tried to register it the canon site would not accept the serial number. I ended up spinning for some time between being unable to register the product and then getting hung up on by canon's customer support line because the product wasn't registered. After investing some hours of my life in this dead end I went ahead and called canon's purchase line where a nice lady answered and agreed to look up the serial number. Turns out the printer I ordered from amazon through an independent seller called Yarkcapital is not a PIXMA TS5320 but actually a PIXMA TS5320a which is not supposed to be sold in the U.S. ....so canon cannot provide me with any customer support. I got back on amazon and called the seller 'Yarkcapital' and they offered no help and suggested I called Amazon. So then I burned some more of my life on a call with Amazon where they offered to send me $20 for my $189 printer and sent me an 'escalation' email address for canon. I emailed canon at this email and guess what...they answered saying the email is an unmonitored box and I need to contact canon support via the same number that originally hung up on me because my product wasn't registered. What is this Orwellian loop of printer hell I have entered? Who is responsible for my broken printer? Amazon? Canon? Yarkcapital? It's looking like the printer is going to end up in a land fill and I am going to have to take the cost of it on the chin.In terms of the product itself...before it broke it was fine...a bit glitchy but fine. It was slower and louder and less efficient that my previous canon PIXMA which has lasted me years. I would have rated it a shaky 3 stars if it hadn't just died and then stolen many hours from my life. I remember back in the day when I was a loyal canon amateur photographer and felt a strong sense of loyalty to that company. That same loyalty lead me to their printers and now we are just gonna totally break up. In addition to the cost of the printer I had just gotten organized and replaced the printer ink. And we all know the cost of printer ink HURTS.

I just received my Canon printer today. Easiest setup Iâve ever had was able to connect to my wi-fi quickly, ink installation was great. Was able to connect my HP laptop to this printer with no problems. Happy I finally got a printer that works for me.
