Official Whitman Statehood Quarters Folder: Complete 50 State Set Plus Territories (1999-2009)

Has a couple of extra complete sets of coins and all I needed was the books to put them in.

The cover is very attractive but the overall quality could be improved. I would pay more if it was made to be more durable. I like that this company offers other folders for my Coin Collection.

Got this for my granddaughter for Christmas. My husband got a 90% silver quarter for the state she lives in to show her the difference in the coins. Her mom had a few quarters for the set. Then it was to everyone’s stash of coins to see how many we could find. It got kids and adults involved in a fun activity which lasted more than an hour.

great for collectors

Though I am not a huge fan of the designs on the statehood quarters themselves, this folder was a nice place to put them after I picked through loose change to find each state over more than a decade. The presentation is pretty nice, and the coins can be removed and replaced easily to inspect the obverse and reverse both. Whitman is really the gold standard for these folders and I have bought many of htese books over the years. The nice colors on this one and the additional detailing make it a cut above the usual date-collecting folder.I recommend this item to anyone that wants to have a nice palce to put, you guessed it, statehood quarters. When full, it is also a useful hand to hand weapon that has enough heft to daze an attacker if swung or possibly bloody a nose or give a nice shiner if thrown shiriken-style.

i bought this folder to put my state quarters in. when i was researching the customer reviews on various folders i felt this one would best suit my needs. it does and the quarters stay in very well. but the problem the other reviewers had is the same problem i experienced, the quarters are hard to put in. i guess that adds to the point of the folder-if the quarters are hard to put in, they will be hard to remove. are they ever! i would recommend this folder as long as the future customer understands it will be a wrestling match worth putting on pay-per-view putting these quarters in!

I have this folder, and while yes, the coins can be difficult to insert, once they are in the holes, they aren't going anywhere. The biggest problem with this particular folder is that the U.S. Mint decided after the success of the 50 State Quarters Program to issue additional quarters for the 2009 DC & US Territories Quarter Program, which includes coins for places like Guam and the Mariana Islands, and it would have been best if this folder included slots for them. So now, I have to seek out a new folder, and I'll be forced to pry my coins out of this one. Doesn't sound like fun :-(

My grandkids and I enjoyed many hours of "inspecting" all of our change and filling these books with quarters from each state and territory. They even set up a barter system to make up for a lack of money and a need to collect all the required quarters, so it also became a teaching device in the process. It also gave me an opportunity to tell my grandkids of my own personal experiences along the way, because I have had the privilege of visiting 45 of our 50 wonderful states.

It's a very nice item and the size is just perfect, but if it's not your first coin album, you'll soon realise that the quality is not great. Nice printing and colour, but you see everywhere (even on the cover) the holes marks for the coins, as is a very thin paper instead a double cardboard as usually. I guess is not too bad for the price.Delivery super fast though.
