Family Nurse Practitioner Certification Prep Plus: Proven Strategies + Content Review + Online Practice (Kaplan Test Prep)

The book has a lot going for it, including well organized, detailed chapters that summarize material. You'll need more than this general overview to pass the test, but this is a good start, especially when used as a complement to Leik and Fitzgerald, both of whom are a bit outdated at the moment. Add the FNP Mastery app, Fitzgerald, and Leik and you have a winning combination.

This FNP Certification prep book is just what I needed. I am finding it very helpful in assisting with broadening my understanding. I feel I will be ready for the certification board once I complete this review.

I used this book to study for the ANCC FNP certification exam instead of doing a formal review course. The book is very well organized and concise. The test questions are very good. I felt confident going in and sure enough I passed!

I really love this book but I recommend you getting this book before you start officially getting ready for boards. Most of us want to start preparing 3 months before boards. I recommend using this book during that first preparation period. The only resources you should stick with during the last month of intense study mood should be Leik, Hollier, and Latrina Welber.

Very detailed. I passed the AANP using this book along with the Leik book. This book is more organized and easy to handle; you have questions at the end of each chapter and the explanations are very detailed. I am recommend it to all FNP students.

This is the easiest to understand, most thorough, nicely organized, and concise review of the FNP certification process and educational review of any similar books I've ever read. If there was only one to pick, this would be it.

I was a little disappointed because I used Kaplan for my NCLEX and it was filled with practice questions and rationals. This book felt like it was just a bunch of review, not as many questions.. I would go with something else unless you just need a review of topics

Please add this book to your Prep for your FNP National Certification Exam. Be sure to take both mock tests .. regardless of which version of the exam you choose to take .. (AANP vs ANCC). This book is awesome in a way that only KAPLAN can provide.
