Fun, But Messy!
I love the Melissa & Doug products, and have bought several, and it was fun for the kids to see the colors appear when they scratched on the pictures with the stylus; however, the residue from the scratching left a bit of a mess all over the table. The mess is like when you scratch off the numbers on a lottery ticket and you're left with "shavings" on the ticket. For this reason, I would not buy this product again.

Great busy activity!
Bought this for my 5 year old nephew for Christmas. He LOVES the water wow books, so I thought he’d like to try something different. These were a huge hit! Even with a room full of presents left to open, he opened this up and laid on the ground doing his scratch art while everyone else opened up more presents. It’s a little messy, but really not that big of a deal.

Perfect for Quiet Time
Got this for my 5 year old son and he LOVES it. He is a very busy energetic boy, but he will sit for an hour working on this. It was very easy for him to use and he was very happy with his “coloring”. Great gift!

Pictures are hard to scratch
I bought 2 different scratch art books the first one which is the pink princess book scratched off super easy however this one takes a lot of work to scratch off the pictures. I bought this for my nephew and he gets bored because the pictures are so hard to scratch. Otherwise I would have a 5 star rating.

Fun activity, be prepared for it to be a little messy!
Bought for you autistic son. He enjoyed it but was a little frustrated with the mess it made.

Fun for the kids!
We got these for Christmas and it was a perfect gift. Kids love it and it’s a great way to keep them occupied and busy. Very entertaining for them and lasts awhile!

Not a car activity
Bought for a first trip with my 6 and 4 year old. They loved them HOWEVER the surface that scratches off makes a bit of a mess in the car AND those little bits scratched off got under carseat and managed to discolor my leather seats. I've put in lots of elbow grease and a couple different wipes to clean it, but it's still there. Overall, I wouldn't suggest these for a car activity.

Lovely product
Great product for travelling. My 5 year old loved it and was quite engaged with this book throughout the trip. Perfect for road trip with kids. Prints and colours are amazing.
