American Sound Connection Electric Guitar 1X12 Empty 12" Speaker Carpet Cabinet Enclosure Box 1/4" Jack

I was debating between a Harley Benton and this cab. Extremely pleased I went with these. They are made of great wood and very sturdy. Sealed backs may be great for some but I wanted open backs with doors. I did some routing and made the doors myself.I have 2 of these 1x12's and replaced the jacks with switchcraft jacks. I also added 2 more jacks on one cab and I have the ability to wire them in a series. With those options, I get 3 different sounds, with the 2 different speakers I have in each cabA big advantage is the weight and portability. They are super light and no need to haul a 2x12 cab at once up and down stairs. They make a loud, mean, chug machine for my ENGL Fireball 25.

Excellent budget friendly 112 cabinet made from solid plywood.It looks like this company specializes in Car audio enclosures, and this cab is made in similar fashionThis has it's pros and cons.Pros1) Cheap2) Solid Plywood3) Sturdy4) Light5) Quick ShippingCons1) Slightly narrow (See the Katana head on top overhangs a little). Luckily the feet fit on top just fine, just doesn't look the best2) Carpeted covering is not the most aesthetic, but then again this is a car audio company so they used what they had on hand, helps keep cost down.3) Can't open the back to install speaker rear mount. This like a sub box, is front mount only.4) Included wires are too short. I wish they were 6-8 inches longer. Should work ok if using spade connectors, but I wanted to solder, and ended up using my own wires.Suggestions for the vendor1) Make a slightly wider cabinet so that amp heads can fit.2) Offer tolex options? If not feaslable, then offer raw wood cabinets that the consumer can stain or paint themselves.3) Longer wires4) Option for an open back or removable back like normal speaker cabinets. So the speaker can be rear mounted.5) Offer a wood frame that can fit on the front where the user can install grill cloth.

A lot of quality for a very low price! Maybe not too flashy but it does everything it says, and it does it very well well built and works above as advertised. I would highly recommend!

It’s a solid cabinet. I loaded an Austin Speaker Works 12” and it sounds great. I’ll probably buy another soon. I mad a custom grill cloth with a cool Hendrix t shirt. More cabinets, more t shirts and fun imagination.

This is really solid. Sounds great with a WGS Reaper in it. Just wish it came with a speaker grill.

Not bad at all. I needed a cab since I traded a tube combo amp for the evh 15 watt head in the picture. I found this would be cheaper than most 1x12 cabs. Got a celestion rocket 50 for it and a speaker cover. I'm very happy with the results. Also looks much more unique than a traditional cab and looks great with the head on top.

Disappointed that the measurements did not match what was advertised

Was pleasantly surprised at how many plies there were in the plywood. Carpeting and corners all look to be installed quite well. Rear jack was adequate. All in all thought it was a good quality for the price.
