The design is not the right one for this car
The bar that goes into the vehicle does not stick far enough to properly use license plate holder

Works well but placement is a little tricky on Series 2 RX8
Installs on front tow hook but due to shape of front bumper, you need to mount the holder on top left or top right corner hole.
