It mounts using the holes in the tips of the console. Because of this, gravity and four pegs hold it in place. So for obvious reasons, the console can sit on its side.In my particular case, I have a wall mount that also comes with hooks for the controllers and headphones. These holders also happen to utilize the holes in the top of the console, that are now covered. I remedied this by just sliding the holder in place and placing the fan on top. So in the front of the console, I now have a have centimeter gap between fan and console.No big deal. Not even noticeable unless you’re looking for it. And it still cools the console just fine.Physically have to turn off the fan and light is a pain. I wish it turned off when the console was powered down, but it’s just one of those small inconveniences. Maybe if it came with a remote. I also have to change the color and speed fan every time I turn it on, since it has to be manually powered down after use. Small, but annoying.Overall it’s a good product. Moves air. Cools the console. Looks decent. I can’t ask for much else.Although truthfully, I’m unsure if it truly cools the console more than just letting the console do it naturally as it’s meant to. Who knows.

The fan top with the LED light looks amazing. Super easy to install, just put it on top of your Xbox, it fits perfectly (but does NOT clip onto it or adhere to it, just sits by gravity on the console!), plug it in, and you’re ready to go. I don’t really use the other light colors beyond the green but it’s really beautiful. The fan is noticeable when on its highest setting but not annoying - and if you’re gaming with a headset on you won’t hear it anyways. Overall an absolutely great product that helps cooling your Series X while making it look stunning. Especially in the dark!

Keeps the dust out of the console. Only thing is the lowest fan speed is kinda useless. Would opt for one higher and drop level 1. Not into the led lights but they’re neat. Super easy to install and benefit of an extra USB port is nice option. Fan noise is minimal, a bit louder than the fan in the console, but not disruptive to the game. Overall excellent buy for the money to protect a gaming investment from overheating and dust. Seller also reached out separately to ensure I was happy with the purchase. Great customer service.

I thought this would turn off when I turned my xbox off but it doesn't, you have to turn off / on the light and the fan each time . I switched to a different product, plus the fan is noisy on high

Had my doubts on this, but it is super effective. Make sure you touch the left "sensor" to turn the fan on high. Really works well!!

Buttons to change the lights and fan speed and be a little touchy. The photos looked like the LEDs could be pink too. Definitely looks a lot more pink in the photo than in person. Otherwise they work and look great!

My son really loves it .. helps keep the new xbox cool and he loves the lighting options. Easy to install, easy to use and gives a few more charging ports.
