Everyone should have a lifeStraw product. As a precaution. Regardless of where you are or what you are doing. They will always allow you to drink any filthy water, even water rats have been swimming in! you will never know when you just might need it. And it's so small, you won't know it's there until you need it. And you will be glad you had one!

One point to note about this, is it will fit carbonated drink bottles NOT standard water bottles, which have a totally different thread. It will fit most soda/pop bottles, though. Strange how it mentions water bottles,.

I plan to use this in Cartagena, I know some times the water can be funny and make you ill, depending on the Hotel and if the water is from the Hotel storage or the local water system, I did my home work, and this Filter came out on top, lots of reviews and how to on other platforms so there is no shortage of what it can do, how it cleans, or what is in side the Filter, I am very happy, I wont get ill from the water on my holiday in Cartagena when using this filter on the local tap water, I have tested it and read the instaurations, and it works just as described and seen in the film clip, I wont be climbing hills or mountings or drinking form a river, but a holiday water Filter is just the job, to clean the water form the Hotel tap for drinking or making a cup of tea, and it will last a very long time, I am very happy thank you.

As per title, used on a variety of water sources over several days, good compatability and versatility, used to fill both ordinary drinks bottles and camelbak as well as direct drinking, used to filter from one bottle to another container also, no issues excellent item.
