Lower pressure only
Failed on a higher pressure pump, but easily fixed. Certainly fine for a bilge pump, as it is advertised for.

Great if your using a bog filter / water fall for your pond
This part I recommend placing at the end of your hose leading to your ponds bog filter, , Then place your 1st layer of filer media and then Lava rock and the keep adding more layers of filter media, I recommend 5 layers and 1 bottom layer of lava rock. This will stop all of the algae from getting back in to your pond. You should clean the bog filter every 2 weeks to a month. you can also add water plants on top of your bog filter to hide everything

It was pretty straightforward easy to install. It works.

So I use this for a dwc setup with recirculating water. If the power goes out my rez will overflow. I got this thinking it would stop the flow back with out power. Nope it didn't stop it. It did however slow the backlog greatly. I might have a defective one I'm not sure. Only to find out is to order another one. But if you are looking for 0 flowback this might not work fyi

Make sure the ID of the hose is correct for the check valve connections.
I used this unit to stop water from getting back to my battery back up sump pump when a main unit would run. I wanted the battery back up unit to remain dry unless pushed into service.
