Perfect solution for DIY project SAVING money!
My challenge was to remodel a shower for less than $1000 (Including the shower floor). I had never done it before but after watching some videos on youtube I dared to do it. The shower was previously painted and I WILL NEVER DO THAT AGAIN, what a mistake so I tried to remove as much paint as possible with a paint stripper.Palisade tiles are a quality product and very easy to work with. The tools what I used was a good knife, 2-Ft Level, Speed Trim Square and a Jigsaw for all cuts. Double checks all measurements before cuts and placement in order to avoid any mistakes.Love this product, looks very good and NO MESS with grout, even for my shower floor I did it using the Tile-On-Tile Method. The challenge was met, for less than $1000 I completed the entire shower remodel.See attached pictures!

Looks beautiful but prepare for a mess if cutting with power tools
This product is very nice and it is beautiful when finished. It's an easy project for a DIY'er and probably for those who don't consider themselves as such. My wife and I selected the Carrara Marble product (see photo) and love it! It installs quickly with one of the recommended adhesives that you can find in the manufacturer's FAQ on their site. I used the Loctite Power Grab Ultimate that I found at Home Depot and it worked great. Highly recommend the manufacturer's installation videos. One note on those though...in the videos they never mention being sure to install the product with the groove part of the tongue-and-groove facing up. I had to read that in the written installation instructions. That seems to be a pretty important fact that the video should cover. One note of caution: if you elect to cut this product with a power tool (I used a table saw), be prepared for a mess. This will be less of a problem for those with a shop or if it is nice weather and you can cut outside. The problem is that the PVC "sawdust" is very clingy - which is to say, is electrostatically charged. It gets everywhere - especially on you! I elected to score (with a sharp utility knife) and snap the last couple pieces and while it takes a bit longer, since you have to cut the score a bit deep to get a clean edge (never as clean as with a power saw) I would likely do the next project with this product, that way.One other note about the star ratings that Amazon asks for. I wasn't quite sure how to rate "Easy to remove". What??? In the end I gave it a 1-star because if I ever did need to remove it from the sub-base I installed it on (painted sheetrock) I would be prepared to have to tear out the entire sheetrock sub-base. That Power Grab adhesive is PERMANENT!. SO, I think the question is kind of silly. Removing this stuff would be no different that removing ceramic or porcelain tile. Specifically, be prepared to destroy the sub-base.

MAKE SURE YOU LIKE THE COLOR (order samples)
We ordered two colors of the product for color comparison to see if it would complement our bathroom remodel. Sadly, neither option worked. But the product is well made and would be beautiful in the right decor. Our only complaint is that returning the product was very expensive as we had to pay for shipping. Something we have never encountered in other product returns. Two boxes of ten tiles was $70 (almost the cost of one box). We ended up keeping the trim pieces because it cost $240 to return them because of their length. We took a loss there as they cost $200. Best advice: ORDER SAMPLES.

Size matters
Make sure that you look at the size of the tiles these ones are different than what comes in the set even though they say most people buy this with this product the tiles are different sizes so you cannot get things to match make sure you buy the right tile size

Know this: They connect in one direction only both up and sideways
What they don't show in the instruction video or manual is that these are completely directional - they fit together in only one direction both up and down, plus side to side just like some luxury vinyl flooring I installed. That's not at all clear in the instructions and unfortunately my contractor thought he understood how to install them but didn't and ended up wasting a full box before realizing how they work. Thankfully we had enough left to do the job since I ordered extra. Before installing them and definitely before doing any cutting lay them out on the floor, turning them upside down to see how they fit together. If you cut one side then you CANNOT use that side to connect - the cut edge has to be on the outer end or fit into the rail (if you are using rails.) You CANNOT turn them around or upside down to fit - they will not connect together. Be absolutely sure you know how they fit together for your space and carefully mark them on the back before doing any cutting.

Quality product and service
Great tiles, unfortunately FedEx was a bit rough with a few boxes. They ship two boxes together, which makes for a heavy package and FedEx clearly dropped one on the corner. Palisades made it right, their customer service promptly replaced the broken tiles and I was able to complete a nice install. There's videos on YouTube if you want some good tips and instructions. I did a full bath surround and was heavy on the glue and silicone, using just over 3 tubes of gorilla construction glue and 1.5 silicone. That includes silicone beads between each tile, along the tub, the corners (I don't like look of the Palisades corner and edging), top and ends. I then put a peel and stick edge and it looks great. My bathroom is brighter, and I took the opportunity to change the shower head and faucet. Overall a great upgrade over a weekend. Highly recommend.

Nice look
Even though the manufacturer states these are not recommended for ceiling, I used these on a shower ceiling. Nice look to match marble look porcelain tiles.

Not enough sealant or adhesive but otherwise fantastic
Had to pick up more sealant and adhesive to complete the job. The tiles fit together easily and look incredible in our small bathroom renovation. Very pleased with how it all turned out! Would highly recommend this product for install and appearance. Will have to wait to see how it holds up and cleans up. Still waiting on curtain rod and curtain.

Watch the YOUTUBE videos and get the first row level.
Supplier shipped incorrect product but corrected the error quickly and to my complete satisfaction. The tiles themselves fit precisely and were pretty much as described. I am happy with the company and the product.
