Not as strong as the original
Hard to find a replacement for this. This one is good if you don't plan to take the door out several times. I had to while installing flooring and it snapped out and broke the second time I compressed it to take the door out. It has lasted on another door that I haven't had to take out

Worked for Metal Closet Door
This worked to fix a metal bifold closet door that was missing a part to keep it in place (fell off during a renovation). A handyman installed this so I can't speak to ease of use. But this fixed the problem.

Bolt too short but spring & clip fits!
My bifold doors to the washing machines came with the house, circa 1980s. The original spring and clip flew off during a cleaning session. My local HD did not have anything close. I ordered this. The bolt is too short but the spring and clip fits!

Diagram Photo show 5/16" Rod diameter actual 1/4" Rod diameter. Diagram Photo show slot at one end of the Rod; actual Rod does not have a slot for a screw driver to adjust length.Dimension Diagram wrong for this product.
