Be prepared to do some work, modifications, and purchase hardware
The product is pretty. That is the good.-Be prepared to get out your drill and 15/64" drill bit as some of the pin holes are not large enough to accommodate the pin.-The rubber strips are a joke and provide little to no padding. They are contact cemented on, stretched tight, and riveted at each end. These would be the first to fail but they are of little use anyway.-The rungs are so narrow that any normal size/weight adult will experience foot pain if used barefoot.-I plan on overlaying split garden hose on the rungs and riveting in place.-I recommend use of longer bolts at the pivot points to accommodate a stand-off washer to keep the parts from rubbing each other and taking off the paint over time.-The flush welds are ground nicely, but very obviously not enough penetration of the weld into the metal such that these will be the first crack points to show up.-It does not come with the lag bolts needed to fasten it to your dock.-Now knowing all the above, the price is extremely high for what you actually get.

Dock side ladder works great
Great ladder! Installed it on my desktop ck for easy (dry) entrance and exit to kayaks on the lake. Wasn’t sure four screws would be strong enough to attach to the dock, so added four more. Does not come with washers so had to buy some. Worth every penny paid I for it

Ladder bent to no repair on first use
I installed the ladder on a pond dock that is roughly 24" about the water level. It appeared to be a decent purchase and something would be beneficial to have in our pond. Until we used it. The first time I tried to exit the pond with the ladder it bent up under the dock the second it was stepped on. I tried to bend it back but that just made it worse. I would not recommend!

Product as described
After installing ladder kids used and thought it was great. Adults were quick to point out that square tube edges felt sharp. However, they still used it for 3 days in a row without any injuries. Maybe they need to go on a diet.

Ok, could be better
Fairly easy to assemble, which is good considering it arrived with ABSOLUTELY NO ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS. The steps are narrow and pretty uncomfortable.

Missing Bolts
There were no bolts to mount it to the dock.

Big Disappointment
This was a big waste of money. Cheap materials, no assembly instructions and bolt holes do not align up. I had it in the water for 1 day and the ladder started to deteriorate.

Good for the money
It is a bit shaky, but I suppose that is to be expected for a pivoting design. I did feel the holes for mounting it to the deck were a bit small, so I drilled them out to use larger hardware.
