Replaced atv choke
Works great just cut it and mount. Very useful

Worth the price
Needed one for my IH 84 Hydro tractor and this fit the bill perfectly - way to long but it's easy enough to pull the cable out and cutting sleeve to length - only issue is the tight space to actually install it in.

Great Alternative!!
Used this as a hood release for an older vehicle, works great with a bit of modification. Used rubber sealer on outer spiral to make it more water/corrosion resistant. Then coated inner cable with dry lube spray. Only con is the edged ridge, from the dome cover(handle end) , really digs into your fingers when pulling it. This would be a simple fix for the manufacturer, not so much for the end user.(docked one star for ridge, which can be painful if you have to use force to pull)

used it for a shutoff cable for diesel deere 4010
took the cable out of the sheath. both are metal. cut the sheath to length, which in my case was 24". the cable needed to be 27". greased the cable with lithium grease, put it back in sheath. the cable is not really a cable, but a wire. its a little tricky to put cable back in sheath, but work at it and center it and push. nut is metal.

Quick and easy replacement choke cable
This cable is quite long but is very easy to shorten to the desired length. The core is stiff and solid and not strands so it can be shaped to fit your carb with a pair of pliers.There is no nylon sheath inside so rusting and ceasing will be a concern. Make sure it is used somewhere free of moisture or use a corrosion inhibitor
